If your sauna walls and ceiling are constructed with a wood framework of 2×4’s, the cavity they create is perfect for a reflective insulation. The material, (preferably a foil or low e metallized film, double bubble structure), should be installed at the mid-point of the framing members, creating an air space on both sides of the material. I would also suggest you line the interior face of the studs with a vapor barrier material, and finish with whatever paneling you desire.
